Here I am. Just being lazy like all the previous days (which make a bit over a week). I was going to write my essays for arts history during the holiday. And in fact I started, but after writing about 10 lines I went out and never continued. In addition there's more schoolwork waiting for me as soon as I get home...

All this would be easier to accept if I had done at lest something. Even something like drawing, painting, photographing or writing my own stuff... But I haven't done even that. Whenever I open my computer (which happens several times a day and usually for at least a couple of hours) I just listen to music and browse random websites or play Bubble Shooter or Minesweeper. And I'm not even near to get bored to them. X)

Still... I'd have ideas for drawings. At least three of them. I just should get started! I know I'll regret this later, but now I'm just going to sit here and listen to music.

(It seems that this text has a wrong date. I don't get why. It's right on the Finnish side...)

Merry Christmas! :D

It's snowing, the fridge is full of food, everybody is at home and iTunes is playing Raskaampaa joulua -album. I don't need anything else.

It's not a Christmas related nor a typical picture for me to do. It's there just because I finished it maybe five minutes ago and I just couldn't leave it out from this post. Problems with scanning in this pic: Colours (they're brighter in real life) size (it's bigger than A4 so everything didn't fit in and the paper didn't partly touch the glass, which made the pic blurry).

And yeah, the anatomy and such things are not right but I was experimenting with colours, not trying to paint a perfect human body. :P

Google is the best friend of those who don't kow what to do. X) Yesterday, after downloading some fonts I realised that I didn't remember where I should place the files so they'd work. After about 20 minutes of randomly searching the place from my computer I got bored and decided to find someone who knows better. I think I took less than 5 minutes to find out where the files must be placed and do it.

Today then. For some unknown reason Photoshop was on grayscale. I was wondering why all my colours were gray and again after random searching I noticed the text "gray/8" in the corner of the picture window. I was clever enough to go and find out what does it mean and how it can be switched off.

I also found myself a nice toy from Photoshop: brushes. Tons of free brushes to download. And often I'm not even reqiured to give credit to the one who has made them if I decide to use those bruhses somewhere. I can't really use the program so well that I could really do anything with it, but Phtoshop+GIMP together give me some results. Even Paint is in use sometimes. ^^'

Maybe I'll change the look of this blog again in the future....

Congratulations Finland! It's independence day. :D

While waiting for the president's party (it's broadcasted in TV) to begin, I decided to change the look of this blog. It even worked in the end. I managed to learn some HTML by wathing my friends making their own websites. Thank you for letting me spy you. :)

There's no more snow... Well, at least it's not as wet as it was in the beginning of the week. But there must be snow for the Christmas... Even I don't know how realistic that wish is. Soon I have to move further to north. X)

Though the winter is lacking snow it has darkness. After 3pm pretty much all the light is gone. That's the best time to listen to good music. Just sit down and enjoy myself. Or talk with someone if I feel like doing that.

Recently I've really listened a lot of music. I bought me that "Heavier Christmas" -album and then I also borrowed Amorphis' Elegy and Charon's The Dying Daylights. In addition I also listen to Eluveitie, Sinisthra and Harmaja from YouTube. Without forgetting anything else I've found earlier. A free moment without listening to anything is pretty rare.

I've also been paying attention to what I buy. I've built my small pile of CDs in this one year, which means buying 12 records within that time. And if I've been nice enough that number might increase as soon as Christmas comes. Uh. I'm happy I haven't have been the one who has paid them... And I don't eve dare to think what happens when I have to. Because these CDs just keep coming. Like now, I know the release date for Eluvetie's new album, from Apocalyptica that info can come any time and also The Rasmus is at least planning a new album. Maybe this could have been forseen.

Just by the way, last weekend I used a couple of hours to make a birthday card for one of my friends. It turned out rather nicely, though the people in it can't maybe be recognised. In fact the whole card is one big inside joke. However, this is how it looks like:

Saturday, 14 November 2009

Snow has miraculously stayed on the ground for several days now. Even now if I stop looking at the screen and turn my head up a bit I can see how everything is white outside. It's nice. :)

I'm actually a fan of four seasons which means every seasons has it's good and bad sides and eternal something wouldn't be nice anymore. Despite that winter feels like my own season. Quite many people say it's because I've been born in winter. Nevermind. I'm still waiting for the winter. Really.

When it comes to waiting human beings are weird. Always waiting for something and then when the moment comes we don't realise it's there and don't live it 100%. And now when talking about it, at this time of the year waiting of christhmas starts. In fact I tried not to start too early, but I got hooked to the songs from the album Raskaampaa joulua (=Heavier Christmas). I'm a hopeless music addict. Song I've been playing the most must be Joululaulu that's sung by JP Leppäluoto. Well, this only means that I have to buy the CD.

I've also kept using our library to get some albums for myself. The newest band "found" is Charon. I liked the voice of the singer, who is (already here mentioned) JP Leppäluoto. Well, the music sounds good so here we go again.

One more thing before going out to the bus stop:
All the mistakes can be seen too well on the computer screen but now it's too late to do anything for it.

Photographs this time. If not real pearls from the archives at least a bit older ones from the depths of my folders.

Earlier this autumn I visited Old Hill Ranch and besides stuffy nose I got a nice bunch of pics and a whish to go there again. Unforunately I can't remember the name of that first cutie, but the second one is called Heinäahon Ronja. If someone knows the name of the first one, feel free to comment and tell me. :)
Then some even older ones. The first one from a boat on calm lake Pielinen. The second is taken in an island. It looks like my little brother would be grilling his toes. :DMy pcis are in pretty unlogic order today... Well, in July there was a birthday party I attended and I got a quite nice pic of the one who's birhtday it was:

Saturday, 24 October 2009

This time I'm updating only for one picture. I'm not even going to wait that I'd finish another one so I could post them at once...

I made this one using watercolour and pencil. I like the way it looks like. I've done a couple of other artworks like this, but they never ended up here. My scanner wasn't so nice to this one...

I think you need an explanation just to know what there is in the picture. The idea for this came from Sonata Arctica's song Zeroes: "A pie in the sky is your brave new world". That's what it is. A pie in the sky. It was nice to paint the clouds and the sky. :D

Yesterday I was writing a text on advertising. For school of course. But because I haven't followed any medias very actively I "had" to do some background work for example in YouTube just to remember what kind of commercials there are. I found real tresures. :D This (it's in Finnish. Sorry) is one intresting example. I laughed so much. (Even the song was in my head afterwards, which was really annoying...)

Even more reasons to laugh I found from 4 first episodes of Pokemon. Dubbed in Finnish. I recommend for people who are suffering of boredom. X) Watch in language you understand though.

Wednesday, 21 October 2009

Today we got to know the results of the first exams. (There are five exam weeks in a year.) Tomorrow we'll know the grades we got from the courses. I think it'll go well. At least there wasn't anything bad in the test results. :D At least not much. Then a couple of artworks I've made were chosen for exhibithions. I'll upload pics of them as soon as I get them back.

In fact I didn't have anything else to say... I just felt like writing a bit of something here. And maybe show you this:This is some kind of student humour then... The original is called MAOL-table.

Tuesday, 13 October 2009

I didn't upload any pics last time, so I'll do it now:

This actually is only practising with pencil. No really good idea or anything behind this one. I just tried not to make too much lines or fill the paper with some foggy grey, which means trying to use the white better. Partly it worked, partly it didn't.

For the next one there was an idea. :D I wanted to know what kind of music a band called Cain's Offering makes and I started to like the song More Than Friends. My sister almost went crazy because I listened the song almost continuously and with rather high volume. Besides being catchy that song also has nice lyrics, that also are the story behind the drawing. So: "Wake me with the sounds of your heartbeat in silence".

To add one more thing: It took me a long time to finish this. I just didn't draw the leg for the black shirted boy. It still isn't good. I just couldn't redo it anymore...

Aaa.... Then I'm also jealous to that pic. X) I wouldn't mind having that kind of long-haired guy who held me that way.

Sunday, 11 October 2009

Oh, laziness... I haven't written anything here for over two months. I really can't figure out why. At least it's not because I wouldn't have anything to say. Then when I finally get myself here I'd like to make the last couple of months fit into a few sentences. Whatever...

Right now I'm on a holiday. We have a week free from school every autumn and that week I'm going to spend on eating, sitting in front of a computer, drawing, photographing and sleeping. And while doing those I'm of course listening to music. It would be impossible to try to make me stop it. All this is will happen without feeling guilty, because at the end of last week I started to dream about Swedish listening comprehensions...

When listening to music, I've noticed that the more I listen to "serious" music the more I laugh to a happyhappy-song when I eventually listen to one. :D At the moment Sonata Arctica's Days of Grays is the album I'm listening to most often. At first I really waited for it and now it seems I'm trying to learn all the songs by heart as soon as possible. You can pick any of the songs on the album and it's a bull's eye. If I had to choose one of the songs, I'd take two: Everything Fades to Gray and Deathaura. Another band I've been listening to a lot is Pain. All I can say is that also Swedish people really make it sometimes. X) Thanks to the one who recommended me Pain.

Then I have to be a salesman for a moment: some time ago I got hooked to Mehida as well. It was "love at first listening". At the end of random surfing in the internet I ended up finding out what this band was (mostly because the keyboard player of Mehida is the former keyboard player of Sonata Arctica) and I liked Wings of Dove so much that I listened to the other songs and asked if it was possible to get the album. I got it.

After a long time I've written something. My computer's keyboard has been in use whenever I've had the time and ispiration. In fact I've, erm, arranged everything so that I have time if I wanted to write. I think I could write something soon. This has been a nice warm-up for my fingers.

Now when I don't feel like trying to remember what I've done the last few motnths I'll tell you what I'd like to do in the near future. Because that trip to Kemi, also mentioned in the previous text, was so awesome I've been drooling because of an opportunity to do it again in Oulu. The tickets will be on sale....tomorrow. Eeks. I need to ask for a permission to go there.

Tuesday, 11 August 2009

Now it's time for some fanaticism. :D Because last Saturday I could be seen (and heard) in Kemi harbour wawing my hands in the air and screaming loudly. The reason to this was Sonata Arctica (those who were surprised, please raise your hand).

Our train left a bit before eleven am. The sun was shining rather warmly so the last thing we'd be suffering was cold. In the sunlight those small whits, that propably came from fireweed or something, were very visible. At first they were a source of amusement. One reason to that was that they looked like the small spider from popular Finnish children's books by Mauri Kunnas. But when I found them in my nose they made me feel rather uncomfortable. Despite those whits the train arrived to Kemi in time and dropped out a load of people that where obviously going to the same place as we were.

We found the hotel quite easily and after quick unpacking and freshening up we headed to the place the gig was held. When we had a rough direction all we had to do was to follow the noise and "those long haired, suspicious looking people that you don't want to meet on a dark alley". We didn't have to walk long until we saw a people in a loose queue that followed the grass areas. It seemed like there weren't so much people there so I dared to hope we'd get good places. Because there wasn't any "official" line formed yet we made a quick visit to the merchandise stand. Due to my thin wallet I bought a 5 euros wristband instead of 25 eouros t-shirt or about 30 eouros hoodie. Still I was very happy with it. We returned to the waiting people, my friend carrying a t-shirt in her bag and me having Sonata's logo around my wrist. About 1,5 hours before opening the gates people started to form a tighter line. Wondering why they did it so early we took our places in the still a bit unorganized queue. Standing under straight sunlight on the sand covered downhill made my back and feet hurt but I didn't let it bother me. As the time passed more people gathered behind us.

Something like ten minutes before seven pm the security officers divided the crowd into three queues and started letting people to the area. When I had passed the security check and the next thing was to show my ticket they said that because I had a printed ticket I should have taken another line. Near the most left queue there was already some people with printed tickets waiting for them to be let in. To me this didn't cause real trouble and with some help from my friend who had got through wothout any problems I managed to get a place from second row (thank you!).

After getting inside the area there was still an hour of waiting left, before Sturm und Drang, the support band would start. An hour however changed into 1,5 hours and my feet were hurting quite a lot. I had never listened to SuD more than I had heard from the radio. So, because of that and some problems with the PA system I didn't really get anything from their performance. As an interesting detail I need to say that their bassist (?) was wearing Apocalyptica shirt.

Ten minutes later than it was said Sonata's intro started. It made the crowd scream pretty loudly. More noise was heard when the band members entered he stage at the end of the intro. I can't say that I wasn't screaming as well. :D

I couldn't write about the whole gig song by song without sitting here the whole night so I'll just let the setlist and a couple of videos tell it for me. The vid in the box is mine, the rest aren't. :)

About the songs I have to say that Flag in the Ground and Last Amazing Grays are from Sonata's upcoming album, so this was a world premiere. :D

I also got some pics even I only had my older, smaller camera with me. Videos I shot with my mobile phone.

In the 1st pic there's Elias Viljanen and in the last two Tony Kakko.

After the gig we stayed near the area. We didn't see anything, but it was nice to sit under the tree and feel the night. I don't usually like staying up late. Anyway I was in bed around 2 am.

Tuesday, 4 August 2009

In the summer I become so lazy. :D I haven't even bought any schoolbooks (!) nor uploaded anything here. What I have done is a pile of drawings and going here next Saturday. For some reason I have really high expectations of it even we can't get to Kemi early enough to get good places. Moreover anything can happen and the whole thing can still get cancelled for me. Anyway, waiting for Saturday.

But the other things I've done. Or the best of them. The first three are made with pencils. After those Apocalyptica drawings (if I remember right they're so old that they can be found only on Finnish side) I started to really like pencils. I think that of all the techniques I've tried so far I master pencil the best. The last three are the basic marker/colour pencil combinations and they belong together with the similar ones that were made earlier. That means cartoons about musicians. (Surprise, surpise it's some Sonata)

I think the rest need some explanations. The first one is an inside joke about Henrik Klingenberg, the keyboard player of Sonata Arctica. I was browsing through some a bit older Sonata pics when my sister pointed out Henkka and asked who he was. I told her and my sister said he looked like Superman.
The second one is Elias Viljanen, the guitarist of Sonata. His third solo-album is called Fire-Hearted (it's a good album, go buy it). Then it somehow transformed into "Fire-Wheeled".
In the last one there's the drummer of Sonata, Tommy Portimo. In the song The Vice there's a sentence "Snare well hidden for the littermate". In this case snare means a trap but because I'm so clever I of course remembered that it can also mean the drum. So, the snare drum has been hidden. Do you find it? (This explanation worked sooo much better in Finnish....)

Saturday, 18 July 2009

(Sorry the translation is BADLY late...) I'm not writing this in our kitchen but home anyway. During the trip I didn't really have any time to use computer and even we've been home since 18th July I was lazy and I didn't upload the photos anywhere until now. That's what happens when you're on holiday. The amount of pics is quite big (eheh!) but if it's not exhausting to go through all of them go here.

Originally I thought that I'll write everything at once and make a huge update but it would take forever to do that. Then I thought that I'll just write these Japan stories in nice short flashbacks among everything else.

Wednesday 3.6.2009
The flight left from Helsinki-Vantaa at about 5 pm. We were told that the flight will take 9 hours and 10 minutes. Quite precise I'd say. :D I don't know if the reason is that it was my first flight or what, but those 9 hours didn't feel long at all. It didn't even go to sleeping. I slept only 4 hours, which is not much for someone who usually sleeps 8,5 hours every night...

Thursday 4.5.2009
As soon as I stepped out of the plane I felt the humidity of the air. It almost hit my face right outside the door. How is it even possible to have that much water in the air? The international airport in Nagoya was (for some reason) bigger than the airport in Finland. Even there would have been space for lots of people it wasn't crowded. It was fun to ride those "human conveyors" or "escalators on floor". Whatever you want to call them.

From a train station that was right next to the airport we took a train to our hotel. Neither in the other end we had to walk much. The hotel could be seen from the station entrance. It was too early to go into our rooms so we only left our bags and other stuff we didn't need to the reception. Then kind of tired we all went to search for a place to have something to eat. Still it was too early that more than a few places would have been open. verything seemed to open at 10 am or later and the time wasn't even 9 am. After walking a few kilometers we finally managed to find a restaurant that was open. It served ordinary Japanese food. I thought it might be small average size, but later I noticed that when talking about the the amount of tables or size of the places it was the biggest of those where we ate. :D In the beginning the staff was worried because they didn't have forks and knives for western people but the one Japanese-speaking person from our group told them that we didn't need them. Oh yeah, for the surprise of the staff a bit stupid looking western people could eat with chopsticks.

After we had eaten we still had plenty of time to hang around before going back to hotel. Near us was a park that surrounded a temple, so we went there. It was also possible to get to the "inner yard" of that temple, because of some kind of reconstruction work going on there. Otherwise it would have been a forbidden area so this was a "once in 200 years" type of opportunity. Some kind of festival would be taking place the following days in the temple are and people were building small stands on both sides of the many walking routes of the park. Because of this and rather large amount of trees my tired head wasn't 100% sure of the direction we were going but I didn't let it disturb me. We were moving in one group anyway. Before returning to hotel we bought some kind of advice for our future written on a piece of paper. If the future on the paper seemed bad it was hung up to a string outside the temple. Then some of the gods (also mentioned in that paper) would take the bad luck away. "A good paper" you could keep if you wanted.

We were back to hotel after noon. Our rooms were in 24th floor and the elevator ride locked my ears. The smell in the room was a bit strange (lets say almost like an old ashtray) but the view that we had from the heights made it more bearable.

In the evening I was too tired to care about anything except a light above our bed. The lightswitch was in such a strange place that I with my Finnish brains couldn't figure it out. We had to leave the light on.

Friday 5.6.2009

The first "real" day, for which we had made some plans. More or less disturbed by the time diference we splitted into two smaller groups. Those would be the groups for almost the whole trip. Before noon we did quickly some shopping to get some important items for that day. An umbrella was one thing we really needed that day. Everything needed to be done by using sign language, but after and our we had all we needed.

A bit before noon we started going through the samurai castle of Nagoya. During the World War 2 it had been almost completely destroyed but it had been rebuilt after that. The inside had also been changed to a museum. We could have spent almost the whole day there, but we tried to be a bit faster than that because we had some other places we wanted to visit too.

Well, we only tried. Of two spots whe tought we'd have visited that day we only managed to go to one. Another reason for that was that everything seemed to close way earlier than in Finland, so we ended up running through a fine Japanese garden in 45 mins. You can't always win...

Sunday, 31 May 2009

Now a really fast update when I still have some time... Tomorrow we'll leave to Helsinki early in the morning and from there we'll fly to Japan on Wednesday. This has already been planned earlier and also the accurate date and time have been clear for some time now. We are meant to stay with our friends/relatives in the land of the rising sun for two weeks. If I have the time I'll also write something here. I might even ba able to link pictures from another page...

Anyway our bags are almost packed. I just need to tidy up the rest of the upstairs. The next update might then be written in somewhere else than our kitchen. :D

Saturday, 23 May 2009

I just have to write something... I've now spent a week almost totally without computer. That is because my laptop stopped working last Saturday. It had worked almost two years and now it broke down. That means I've maybe lost over 2GB of music and quite a lot of photpgraphs which I hadn't moved to a memory stick. I think it's possible to rescue them but you never know. All the respect to back-up copying from now on. In addition to that I can't use e-mail, Skype or anything. When using this computer I'm now using, and which I can borrow sometimes, I can't even upload pics here yet. It will take at least three weeks if not more before I get a new computer.

Well, the positive thing today is that there are only last four exams left at school plus Friday and Saturday. In fact I should be studying right now but the withdrawal symptoms got too bad. :D

It might be that updating this blog will suffer a bit and I must survive without adding any pics here. I even drew a comic strip about last Saturday but it has to wait until I get a new computer unless I make this one work with my scanner.

Tuesday, 12 May 2009

School will end soon. :D There are only this week, the exam week, a couple of other random days and then...

In fact we already tried being on holiday last weekend. We had won a weekend in a summer cottage so we went there to get our prize. But once again I noticed that a weekend somewhere else than at home feels like no weekend at all. There are exceptions but on when I woke up on Monday I just thought "Where's Saturday?" Well, even the weekend ended before really starting I took quite a lot photographs. It was nice to sit on the rocks and listen to the sound of melting ice.
This last one is a bit older pic. Taken in our garden a couple of weeks ago.

Thursday, 7 May 2009

Just before the 1st of May people in a small market have seen something a bit strange. Someone who looked like Altaïr could have been seen near the ice creams. The person was armed (with a sword that cost 4€ ) and in a very serious May mood. If you have seen this person tell immediately to someone who has played Assassin's Creed.

On Tuesday I got nice plaits. :D There were about 40 of them. It took an hour to make them and half an hour to undo them. Many thanks to the one who made them and also to people who assisted. Happy now!Today I noticed again one miracle of nature. A very local shower of rain. On one side of the house it rained and on the other it didn't. :D It seems it's going to be summer.

Thursday, 30 April 2009

I made it! I passed the piano exam 3. :D I had to play four songs with the piano, as I had done the scale exam earlier and in fact today it went pretty well. I made a few mistakes but when I didn't get stuck to them it was good. When I did the scale exam I only just passed it but this time with the songs I did quite well. It's possible to get a mark from 1 to 5 and I got 4. They also said that I listen to my own playing and the way I play moves the listener. There was also something else but I can't remember it anymore. Well, I'll get a copy of that paper so I'll tell more about it then. Now I'm just extremely happy. But at least on Monday I'll get my feet back on the ground when I realise that I only have a bit over two weeks before the last exam weeks starts.

When I'm sitting here I could actually put here some pics that I took at a birthday party. There are some really good ones even taking pictures of moving objects is more difficult. :D

In this pic there's not an angry dog. It's a dog that's imitating a pig.
Another dog.And with the permission of the persons in this photograph. Making faces.
And yes...Happy Mayday!

Tuesday, 28 April 2009

Sometimes there are moments, which should be written with a capital M. Also today.

It was raining a bit and I was walking the short trip from the bus stop to the place I had left my bicycle. I was listening to Farewell by Apocalyptica but still I could hear the sound of the rain. I jumped over the a place almost managing to save my shoes, that have already suffered quite a lot, from gettin even more dirty and walked to my bike. I dried the saddle of the bicycle with my gloves and turned the bike into the right direction. With the rain on my face I headed back home. When I looked attentively around me I could see a bit of green. Under the dead, yellow grass next to the road there was growing new life, refreshed by the rain. Nearly all the snow had melted but in the ditches, on bigger piles, in the forest, and on the shady fields there still was some. Fog was raising over the fields and still frozen lake. The rain was at the same time making colours look bighter and fading all the distant things into something grey. Cool raindrops were falling on me drawing darker dots to my olive green jacket and sticking to my glasses. The smell of the wet soil was everywhere...

That was The Moment of this day.

Then some pics. Some are taken yesterday others are a bit older.

Sunday, 19 April 2009

Now! :D Now the "bigger artwork" is ready. The one I've been taking about so much. It took pretty much time to make it maybe because I only used my time to it on weekends. Then I didn't even have time to continue every weekend or I just was too lazy to do anything for it and so getting it done took so long... Well, anyway now it's ready and it's not even the worst possible. At least I once used lots of colours. Scanning the drawing almost started World War III between me and A3-size papers. One half of the pic had to be scanned two and the another half three times before they looked normal or were at least straight. Putting the pics together...well, let's say that clone tool has got the power.

Even drawing it took so long there's not any bigger explanation for the pic than this Or actually that is over ten minutes explanation. :D

Wednesday, 15 April 2009

This day was a bit different from the others. It wasn't anything really big ar anything, but still different. It started right in the morning when I walked the short trip from bus stop to my school. The sun had already risen above the horizon and it was light. As usual I was listening to music while walking and the song I was listening to was Svo hljótt by Sigur Rós. The combination of the sun and that song suddenly made me feel really good and it lasted quite long. My moods don't usually have anything to do with the weather, but with that song the sun had a some kind of effect on me. (Music affects me for sure.) Then I sat in the sunny entrance hall of my school and all the time I wanted to laugh.

The second special thing today was that I felt like I'd be more awake that usually. Not like being less tired or something, but like seeing more things and thinking about them. I'm not saying that I'd remember this day better than the others or that I'd have suddenly got an ability to see something that other people don't, but all the day I've had a feeling that something is happening in my head and I actually was concentrating in every lesson. :D I guess that at the moment I'm not thinking anything more than usually at this time of the evening, but earlier today I was thingking plenty of things which I can't remember anymore. A couple of these days and the marks I'll get in next exams will be better than ever before. :D

The third special thing was an excercise I had to do in tutor training. (In our school there is a group of older students, tutors, who tell the new students how everything works.) The thing was to imagine a park then tell it to other members of the group and compare it with what others had imagined. All senses could be used. Only thing all had to have there was so high fence that it was impossible to see over it. It was interesting to hear what other students had imagined and how different it was from my own park. In my park there were a lot of fir trees but hardly any leafy trees and all of them were birches. There were no leaves in them because it seemed to be autumn. It was quite windy and big clouds were drifting in the sky and passing the bright sun. (It was maybe early afternoon.) I was standing on a path. It was made of brown gravel. Near me was a park bench which looked quite much like this . It was just more shabby than that. I could see the fence. It was a spruce hedge. I was alone and except the sound of the wind there was quiet.

In the next part of the excercise I had to imagine a way to see through or over the fence and look what's behind it. In my spruce hedge there was a hole about the size of my head on the same level with the ground, but even I was thinking really hard there was nothing behind it. I tried everything between a forest, a cliff and a motorway but nothing fitted. I think that if someone went through that hole he or she would just disappear into thin air.

I recharged the batteries of my camera and moved the pics to the computer so a couple of pics I took during the Easter.

Allright... Back home and next to my scanner again. During the Easter holiday I almost started to miss it. Or if I didn't miss the scanner at least I missed my loudspeakers. Four days with headphones/laptops own speakers and it feels good to hear the sound of my "additional speakers" again. :D

From electronics to these pics. The first one is a bit special because I got the idea to it at night. Mostly I sleep at night, but exceptionally on Saturday I couldn't get sleep. After a few songs in my mind and some indefinite thinking in the dark I got an idea of new Sleeping Beauty. What else could a sleepless wish for than sleeping like her. I woudn't also mind that kind of "goodnight". :D

The idea of the second one came at more normal time. It's meant to be a some kind of wolf though at the beginning it was said that it's a lion.

The spring in Finland is a quite interesting thing. Sometimes snow, sometimes water. On one day you feel like boiling and on the next day you have to go and look for a warm pullover. Well...It doesn't make me feel bad. :D Moreover spring is the best time to make snow horses. Also I was told to go out to do something else than take photographs. Still I had to take the camera with me. Then we needed a lot of cousin-power and a little bit of experience in making snow horses. The result was Mr. Horse 2009:

When I'm back home again maybe I should make another horse. Or maybe not. At home I should at least scan a few drawings. I could also take a pic of them with my camera, but I don't have to hurry that much. I'll have then time to draw some more.

If we now start to grow this "I should" -list. Just to kill time: I should choose one collection of poems and one of short stories and a movie or a play for a Finnish course in school. Then I should tidy up my wardrobe, buy new pencils and make/buy a good birthday present for a good friend and...something. I'm sure I forgot some.

1.20 PM The physics lesson ended
1.28 I was on the bus stop (I missed the bus)
1.44-2.15 In library
2.30 The next bus arrives
2.47 The bus stopped to my stop
2.50 I opened my home door
2.55 I was back on the road again taking photographs
3.something I packed, put my things to the car and sat to the back seat
6.something I dropped my luggage to the entrance hall floor of my grandparents' house
7.11-? I sat on the floor with my computer

I had something more important to say, but I can't remember it anymore... Well, just off-topic: Yesterday I found Skype quite useful. A friend of mine had a birthday yesterday and that program reminded me about it in a very friendly way. So, I was saved from forgetting. :D

In the last week of this month I'm going to do the rest of the level exam 3. I have to play four songs on piano and quite well to be honest. I still have to work for it but I'm doing quite well. Now I just should practise every day. I think that the my grandparents' old harmonium(?) has to take a lot during this easter.

Those photographs then... Some of them were taken in the last weekend and some today. In the weekend I noticed again that if you haven't done something for a while then when you do you can after it feel that you have really done something. I mean in the winter I don't drive a bike very much and in the weekend I drove over 10 km on wet roads. My legs hurt several days after that. Well, this spring there will be more days like that so I think my legs will get used to it again.

I still don't know what day of week it is... Now it feels like Sunday. I also feel a bit weird because I slept a few hours in the afternoon. I think that if someone came now and said that there's a monkey outside I'd go to look at it.

Picture of the day:
I've been thinking about drawing something like that for a some time now. I thought to do it now when I wanted to try those new papers. It came out pretty good, even I realised too late that it looks a bit too much like this. I didn't want to erase it anymore so it is like that now.

Laughter of the day (or actually also some earlier day) :
Bang is just like what it looks outside. (The another song is "Takatalvi" which means that it looks like it was new winter in the middle of the spring) :D

The exam week is OVER! I feel more normal now even I at times can't remember wchich day of the week it is. But if I'm right it's Friday tomorrow. :D Now when I don't have to go through this for six weeks I could use the coming weekend with a more creative way. I should work with that big drawing at least a bit. Moreover I bought today some special paper for marker pen and a thick drawing pad and I'd really like to try what I can do with them.

Even the exam week made me stop drawing for a while I've taken some photographs (again) because the good side of the exam week is that I'm home earlier. That means I can photograph in light what would otherwise be wasted while sitting in a lesson. Some of these pics are taken yesterday and some today.

There are now quite many pics for a one post but they are from two different sets so I can do nothing. In fact I didn't plan uploading so many of them but I took 80 pcis more in the middle of writing. I went out and my shoes got filled with snow because I didn't put them on properly. Then my hair of course got stuck to the roses...
