I get an order to take pics of everything.
When the system is basically clear, it's time for random hanging around, getting the coffee machine ready and "Hey, here's your ticket to get some food, and here are our kitchen girls" -round. Bit by bit coffee-thirsty musicians, sound techs and other more or less important people start entering the kitchen. While feeding the others, one is also allowed to feed herself.
Having taken care of the kitchen duties
-Would you take a few kittens?
-No, no, not by any means!!
-Not even for nailing them on the wall?
-Have you ever been to Vesanto?
-Can't remember I would have.
-We're civilized there, we also have forks and knives.
-So do we in Lapinlahti!
-There's a dairy in Lapinlahti. I've been there.
I'm allowed to watch and especially photograph the gig. The audience is a bit quiet during the first band. The second creates some movement among them and the third really gets the crowd going. I'm having great time and even headbanging enough to get a hurting neck for a few following days. 8D
New positions right in front of, and on the side of the stage give me a bunch of new angles and other interesting possibilities.
The lights at this sort of smaller events are often a bit challenging, but I must say that I've seen worse.

The only disappointment of the evening is that Verjnuarmu doesn't give an encore despite fierce applause.
Even cleaning is nice when one can take posters and setlists home. In general the whole night as a kitchen girl has been so nice that I'll retake it if possible.
-Could the girls help you somehow?
-Look at us their jaws dropped.
